2018 was amazing but 2019 is shaping up to be EPIC!
Over the holidays like every year I have drawn up my list of things I want to achieve in 2019.... and here they are:
Run a faster London Marathon
This shouldn’t be hard if it’s not 1000 degrees again! Last year was murder in that heat but I plan to train harder and be a better runner by the time I get to Greenwhich on April 28th!
Run more Parkruns
I really struggle to get Parkruns in with training on a Sunday but this year I have changed around my training plan so I am aiming to make a dent in the number of Parkruns I do!
Volunteer at more Parkruns
I really enjoyed volunteering this year and when I have events on or big races on a Sunday I plan on getting down to Barclay Park and doing my bit and I encourage you to do the same!
Run 1000 miles Fordy Runs 2019 Virtual Challenge
Not sure I have done the right thing but I really want to try and achieve this in 2019
Run an Autumn Marathon
I would LOVE to complete another Marathon in October and that is the plan. I will see how I fair in London and then book it. Hopefully some of the Fordy Runners will be joining me to make it even more awesome!
Run a faster 10k and Half Marathon
Yep in the Summer I will be trying to go faster AGAIN!
Complete a Triathlon
I am super excited about this challenge! I am booked in for one in June and I can't wait!
Run a Trail race
This is a challenge to me as I pretty much run on pavement so I want to book a trail race somewhere awesome like the Forest of Dean so I might ask Andy (who has an awesome YouTube Channel) to fix me up!
Sign up for an Ultra in 2020
Big goal for 2020 but this will need booking in the Autumn
Help more Fordy Runners smash Pb’s
Probably the thing I am most looking forward too in 2019! I just love pacing and seeing the guys smash their Pb's. The 2018 highlight was Billy's face when he crossed the line in Oxford!
